Trek with Highland Horse Riding
Highland Horse Riding is run by Ileene Duncan BHSAI, who with her husband & family farms Stonefield Farm, an extensive hill farm. Ileene has experience in various fields of the equestrian industry & livestock farming. You are likely to see the traditional Blackface Sheep, Highland Cattle & farmed Red Deer, (Oysters are also grown in West Loch Tarbert ) and abundant wildlife. The terrain is diverse, sometimes challenging, but you can always be assured of an interesting & exhilarating experience!
The routes are varied from leisurely hacks taken at a steady pace to exhilarating hill riding where the terrain sets the challenge : terrain in which the natural ability of the Highland Pony and Eriskay Pony excels.
